Printing and mailing your proposal – how to save big bucks!

What is a proposal brief?  A two page document that summarizes your proposal and gives key information.  It serves as a primer for your proposal, giving vital information, that is presented intelligently and professionally so a sponsor can get the basic information about your opportunities and then decide to ask for your proposal or a meeting. 

The proposal brief can be mailed for $.39 in a #10 envelope.  It helps you save money because you aren’t mailing out your full proposal at a cost of $10-$15 per document and a postage price of $1.00-$3.00 each.  If you mail out 100 proposals to a list, you can save significant dollars.

Printing ($15.00 X 100 = $1500)

Postage ($.89 X 100 = $89)

Other costs, envelopes, labeling, etc. $15.00

Total estimated cost of mailing a proposal = $1604

Cost of printing and mailing proposal brief = $138

Estimated savings: $1466
