Philosophy

Sharon strongly believes that the whole adoption experience should be a joyful and wonderful occurrence.  Because of the nature of the situation, stress and anxiety are built in.  Sharon wants her role to reduce this trepidation, not add to it.

With many years of experience working with adoptive parents, Sharon can usually help reduce apprehension by addressing some of the emotional issues causing you concern as you enter and progress through the whole process.

The process for international adoptions varies.  A more complex Homestudy is always required.  Follow-up visits are usually determined by the country, the agency or the attorney.
